projectiondesign: Now in Germany

Article posted on April 1, 2012

Manufacturer of high-performance projectors

The Norwegian manufacturer of high-performance projectors is intensifying its worldwide involvement in marketing and sales. To develop its network in the German-speaking region, projectiondesign has now opened its own branch in Düsseldorf.

For more than 10 years, projectiondesign has been developing and producing high-end projectors for demanding AV applications in the fields of visualization, simulation and training.

As part of its international activities, the company opened an office in spring 2012 at Neuen Zollhof in the center of Düsseldorf. From here, CEO Dr. Jens Heymans and his team provide consultancy for customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. With more than 15 years of experience in the electronics and IT industry, Doctor of Economics Heymans leads the Düsseldorf team, whose tasks include the continuous development and expansion of the partner network. "Although to date, we had no representation in the German-speaking countries, there are many companies and organizations among our partners here," said Dr. Heymans.

These include the German Aerospace Centre, the Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute and BMW World in Munich. "Our projectors are used in complex applications, and our customers rightly expect high standards of products and services from projectiondesign. Support for the German-speaking region by its own team is the optimal solution for directly providing comprehensive onsite support," said Heymans.

Together with Business Development Managers Edgar Stinshoff and Ulrich Lange, he stepped up collaboration with existing partners and formed new contacts with design agencies, distributors and customers in the German-speaking region. Technical Field Application Engineer Karsten Becker provides advice and support for his colleagues for technical issues. He is also responsible for the fields of support and training for clients and distributors.
