The Calrad 40-DAB-1 digital balun system provides a simple solution for optical toslink or digital coaxial signals to travel over long distances using standard UTP Cat5e, Cat6 cabling. Supports cross conversion from transmitter to the receiver, the input on the transmitter can be toslink and the output on the receiver can be coaxial or vise versa. Perfect for smart TV applications where digital optical toslink connectivity to stereo A\V receivers are required over longer distances extending the typical length restrictions of standard toslink optical cables. To convert any digital audio signal to analog stereo, use Calrads 40-DACD-D converter. Powered is only required at the transmitter side. Signal transmission is in real time with no delay or signal latency issues.
