The PPM is a Belt pack power supply / adaptor for connection to an electret condenser microphone. Mic input socket Tini Q (mini XLR) male 3 pin, Output socket to mixer via male 3 pin XLR. Phantom power 9-48V from a mixer can be connected and used to power the condenser microphone. If mixer does not have phantom power then a 1.5V battery can be inserted into the adaptor to power the condenser microphone. Included are switched positions for flat response or low frequency roll off.
