The melamine Exact uses in our products is a composite material made from recycled and/or recovered materials. The fibers used to make melamine would otherwise be burned or thrown into landfill.
The material we purchase qualifies as EPP (Environmental Preferred Products) a preferred standard that ensures that manufactured products demonstrate environmentally friendly characteristics.
The use of melamine in projects may allow the user to earn credits under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System.
Exact Furniture’s main supplier of wood products is a member of the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and therefore complies with FSC standards.
