The Collaborative Client Experience Center is the latest in a series of successful engagements between the client, a national real estate and design-build firm, and McCann Systems. With a longstanding relationship built on trust and proven performance, McCann was brought into the planning process early to help realize the client's vision for a bold, technology-forward space at their new St. Louis headquarters.
The client's goal was clear: create an immersive environment where storytelling, collaboration, and innovation could converge, supporting everything from high-stakes client meetings to team workshops and virtual presentations. With that in mind, McCann was tapped to lead the audiovisual design and integration, collaborating closely with architectural and experiential design firm Clickspring to align technology with both the space's form and function.
The centerpiece of the system is a large-format LED video wall featuring movable vertical “blades,” enabling dynamic visual configurations based on the type of meeting or event. An Analog Way 4K video wall processor acts as the control hub, routing content from multiple sources to the LED wall and supporting displays. A 4K-capable AV-over-IP system from ZeeVee enables seamless distribution of video across the space, ensuring scalability and future expansion.
For content flexibility, McCann integrated multiple input options, including a table-based HDMI connection, two BrightSign digital signage players, and a media server (provided by others). These options enable the scheduled or on-demand playback of static or motion content, catering to a variety of client-facing scenarios.
The audio system features Shure wireless microphones, 1-Sound ceiling-mounted coaxial speakers, and subwoofers, tuned through a Biamp DSP for clarity and even coverage. This setup ensures speech intelligibility and immersive audio regardless of room configuration.
For conferencing, Cisco hardware and a 4K PTZ camera support hybrid meetings, while a Crestron 10” custom-programmed touch panel offers intuitive control over source selection, volume, and device management.
All AV equipment is installed in dedicated 44-space AV racks in a nearby IDF, designed with long-term serviceability, power management, and monitoring in mind. An additional rack supports future expansion and lighting integration.
This thoughtfully integrated system blends powerful capabilities with elegant simplicity, empowering users to communicate confidently, collaborate effectively, and deliver impactful experiences- no matter who’s in the room.
