Draper At Home Expands Battery, Low Voltage Options

During CEDIA 2025, Draper At Home will be introducing three new products to increase the performance and convenience of outdoor shades. Draper At Home will showcase the new solutions as part of Destination Outdoors, located outside and across the street from the show’s main entrance.

The FlexShade ZIP 127 and ZIP XL with Solar Panel mean no digging or tearing up concrete to install outdoor shades, because there is no power or wiring required. The solar panel maintains a continuous stream of power for the quiet, rechargeable battery-powered motors.

Battery motors are compatible with smart home systems via Bond Bridge Pro, and with the newly available Bond Weather Station, which will also be in action. The newly available Bond Weather Station monitors current weather conditions to make sure the shades are in the right place at the right time.

“These powerful upgrades provide dealers more tools to help them be successful in upselling their customers on the idea of outdoor shading,” said Clint Childress, Market Director – Residential. “We hope they will come and feel for themselves the improved experience that comes with Draper At Home outdoor shades, and will carry the message of luxury outdoor living back to their own customers.”
