AmpliVox Introduces New Line of Tabletop Podiums
Posted on Monday, July 4, 2011
Northbrook, IL: AmpliVox Sound Systems today introduced a new product group of tabletop lecterns, presenting a wide range of function and style options. Lecterns are available in solid hardwood, crystal clear acrylic, heavy-duty polyethylene plastic, or durable laminate finishes. Some coordinate with AmpliVox Multimedia Carts to create optional full-height standing podiums. Lecterns can include wired or wireless sound amplification systems, or can be purchased without sound for a lower-cost alternative.
For a limited time, these tabletop lecterns will be available with free shipping from discountlecterns.com.
“At AmpliVox, we are always trying to anticipate our customers’ needs,” said Don Roth, AmpliVox CEO. “Tabletop versions of our lecterns give our clients’ more flexibility for storage and portability, without sacrificing any of the quality or technology available in our regular lectern products.”
Highlights from the new product line include:
The 250 Series Tabletop Lectern: A coordinating lectern to the popular 250 line of media carts, this lightweight tabletop model comes in two attractive wood-grain laminate finishes. The SW250 with a built-in wireless 50-watt sound system includes microphone inputs, volume control, and outputs for external devices. The lectern can easily attach to the matching lectern cart base for a full-height piece, or used separately on a tabletop.
The EZ Speak Folding Lectern: Convenience is the keyword for this portable lectern that saves on storage space with its ingenious folding design. With the sides collapsed, the whole unit is roughly the size of a briefcase. An attached handle and optional wheeled storage cart make portability a breeze. The EZ Speak can be fitted with wired or wireless sound, and attaches to form a full-height lectern with the S260 Multimedia Cart. It is available in four attractive wood-grain laminate finishes.
The 242 Series Portable Lectern: For the ultimate in portability, the 242 folds down to a mere 18” x 12” x 3.5” and weighs just 8 ½ pounds. With its small profile, attached handle and concealed Velcro® closures, the 242 is easy to store and easy to carry. A simple set-up makes it performance-ready in no time.
The Roving Rostrum® Podium PA: Bridging the gap between podium and public address system, AmpliVox’s Roving Rostrum® offers the best of both with easy out-of-the-box setup. The lightweight plastic lectern houses a powerful 50 watt sound system, Omni Directional Speakers for 180 degrees of sound projection, and wired and wireless mics. A removable grill conceals extra storage space for mics and cables.
Pinnacle Tabletop Lectern: Adapted from AmpliVox’s popular full-size Pinnacle lecterns, this tabletop version packs a variety of features into a lightweight and stylish unit. The durable polyethylene shell is dressed up with a wood-grain laminate front panel in four color options. The ergonomic design features a padded wrist rest/paper stop and a flat surface to hold laptops or other devices. Water and weather resistant, the Pinnacle can be fitted with either wired or wireless 50 watt sound systems.
Victoria Lectern: This elegant hardwood lectern comes in natural cherry, mahogany, or walnut with a scratch-resistant finish and the best solid wood construction. Its optional built-in sound system includes a dynamic hot mic that picks up sound from up to 18 inches away.
Acrylic Tabletop Lectern: A distinctive and stylish choice, this clear Lucite lectern fits well into churches and other formal settings. With no assembly required, it is ready to be used in any meeting right out of the box.
