We can’t stop sharing our excitement about our groundbreaking laser technology. So we were delighted to welcome this group of 3D enthusiasts to our premises. After a tour of our factory and a networking lunch, the audience was treated to several brief presentations on Barco and our laser technology. While Wouter D’Oosterlinck proudly introduced our Flagship Laser Projector, which he and his team designed, our colleague Jan Daem, who was elected chairman of Laser Illuminated Projector Association (LIPA) in 2015, zoomed in on the regulatory aspects of laser projection.
Unparalleled 3D experience
As the visit was scheduled as part of the International 3D Stereo
MEDIA Summit, we explicitly stressed how laser projection truly boosts
the 3D experience. In the Flagship Laser projector demo session, all the
attendants had the opportunity to see for themselves how our laser
projectors deliver exceptional image quality with outstanding 3D
brightness, thus creating an unparalleled 3D experience.
Constant quest for innovation
Moreover, Barco’s digital cinema business is about more than laser, so
we also showcased our 3D sound system and touched upon the CinemaBarco
story. And we ended the day with that other token of Barco’s constant
quest for innovation: 'One Campus’, where the new Barco way of working
will come to life at the start of the new year…
