How to offer a truly connected customer experience? Visit Barco at this week’s RBTE 2016 to find out!

Does online shopping signal the end of brick and mortar stores? Barco’s retail experts believe not; rather, it’s the fact that many retailers have not kept pace with consumers’ changing behaviors. At this week’s Retail Business Technology Expo (RBTE) in London, UK, we are showing how our retail solutions can create truly engaging shopping experiences designed to maximize sales and drive brand loyalty.

A holistic retail model
In today’s digital world, shoppers have more options regarding what to buy and where to buy than ever before. They don’t shop either online or in store, but zigzag across both channels researching and interacting with brands on the path to purchase. The secret to win them over? Offer entertaining, compelling shopping experiences! Barco lends a hand, by providing retailers with powerful tools and technologies to create, manage, and deliver real-time content from any source to any screen. Continual feedback from the system allows retailers to analyze their audiences, stores, campaigns and more, so that they can adapt the content and tailoring messaging to customers in the store – and we prove it every day!

Making the digital connection with dynamic retail visualization

Want to see how it works? Until Thursday 10 March, Barco is showcasing its Intelligent Display Network (IDN) at RBTE (booth #493). Leveraging the capabilities of our cloud-based X2O platform, sensors, data-analyzing features and Barco displays, IDN employs bi-directional communication to better understand in-store shoppers and to respond to them with a constant stream of real-time content. “With bi-directional visual communication solutions, we can directly appeal to customers’ emotional triggers – connecting content to people, engaging them in their own personalized story and predisposing them to purchase a product or feel a sense of brand loyalty,” says Bas van Heek, Strategic Marketing Manager for Retail & Advertising at Barco.

RBTE closes tomorrow at 17:00h. Missed it? We’ll be showcasing our platform at Digital Signage Expos 2016 – the world's biggest trade show of digital display and interactive technologies – on 16 and 17 March next in Los Angeles.
