Just two weeks ago, our South-African distributor Peripheral Vision welcomed a dozen AV professionals, end-users and resellers to their offices for a two-day workshop on our control room and event solutions. A joint initiative of Barco and Peripheral Vision, the seminar featured both technical sessions and hands-on demos – which were all much appreciated by the participants!

A deep dive into Barco technology
On days 1 and 2, workshop participants enjoyed live demos of our image processing solutions. Our experts elaborated upon the Event Master family, featuring the E2 presentation switcher and the EC-200 hardware controller – our latest show superhero.

During the technical training held on day 1, control room operators and their colleagues took a deep dive into our screen technologies, video wall controllers and software.

New distributor
Peripheral Vision signed a distribution agreement with Barco in January this year.
In June, they hosted their first Open House event, where all industry peers were invited to explore the Barco Enterprise and Entertainment markets. The September workshop was a great follow up and opportunity for both Barco and Peripheral Vision to get in front of (prospective) customers and demonstrate how the latest Barco technology can make a difference in control rooms and at events.
