To highlight our expertise in the field of VR, two of our Barco colleagues will explain the latest concepts in 3D during a keynote at the popular Stereopsia conference.

The Oscars of VR and 3D cinema
Initially called 3D Stereo MEDIA, this international Stereopsia show is organized in close collaboration with the Hollywood-based Advanced Imaging Society & VR Society – which is chaired by Wim Buyens, our Senior VP Entertainment. So, apart from hosting presentations and training courses from world leaders on the topics of VR and immersion, the conference will conclude with an awards dinner, where the Lumiere Awards, also known as the ‘Oscars of VR and 3D cinema’, will be presented. Film icons such as Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg and Ang Lee are among past recipients. Barco will be presenting its own special award to a lucky recipient at the event.
