Biamp Systems Adds Sales Development Director for Unified Communications to Meet Surging Market
Posted on Tuesday, August 18, 2015

BEAVERTON, Oregon — Biamp Systems, a leading provider of innovative, networked media systems, today announced that Sally Blank will join Biamp in the role of sales development director with a specific focus on the company’s Unified Communication and Collaboration sector. Based in Minneapolis, Blank will report to Vice President of Global Sales Ron Camden and oversee Biamp’s continued growth within the UC marketplace.

“It’s with great enthusiasm that I welcome Sally Blank to our sales team,” said Camden. “She brings a wealth of experience in global sales channel management and an impressive background in B-to-B sales of professional audio and video equipment across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, India, Asia Pacific, and Latin America. Her recent success in fostering partnerships within the area of unified communication and collaboration will be especially valuable to Biamp as we continue to expand into the space.”

Prior to joining Biamp, Blank was with the international channel manager for Vaddio’s specialty cameras, camera control solutions, and full suite of unified communication and collaboration products for audio-visual, video-conference, and broadcast installations. She successfully initiated the process of identifying, qualifying, and selecting global dealers and distribution networks in addition to the implementation of country-specific go-to-market strategies. Blank is fluent in German and holds a bachelor’s degree in international business and German from Gannon University.

“The convergence of AV and IT industries has created new avenues for innovation. It’s an exciting time to join Biamp,” said Blank. “I look forward to growing the company’s brand recognition by fostering exceptional customer service in order to build lasting partnerships within the UC marketplace.”
