Crestron Receives Corporate Lifetime Achievement Award For Innovation, Excellence, and Corporate Growth
Posted on Tuesday, May 12, 2015
Rockleigh, NJ, May 12, 2015 – Crestron proudly accepted the Corporate Lifetime Achievement Award from the Association for Corporate Growth New Jersey last week during the organization’s Corporate Growth Conference. The annual half-day conference honors CEOs of companies that exemplify innovation, excellence, and corporate growth. Crestron was selected by the ACG NJ Board of Directors for its inspiring story of innovation, transformation, and growth over the past 40 years. Crestron CEO, Randy Klein accepted the award on the company’s behalf and shared Crestron’s story of innovation during the conference keynote.

In his keynote address, Klein said that innovation is about changing, growing, and building “continually.”  “Our people make Crestron great. The people make the company. The people make the innovation. The people drive us forward and give us our purpose.” “We started with nothing,” he added, noting that the company was founded in 1969 as a repair company and that the company grew “one dollar and one customer at a time.”

“ACG New Jersey and its annual conference bring together local business leaders to promote corporate growth,” said ACG New Jersey President, Sally Glick. “We selected Crestron to receive the Corporate Lifetime Achievement award during the conference because Crestron is a company with longevity and has demonstrated a consistent and powerful track record of success and innovation.”

The influential networking event provided attendees with an opportunity to honor and learn from CEOs of successful companies. News 12 New Jersey Anchor, Bryan Jenkins was the emcee for the value-packed conference. Following the networking session and honoree panel discussion, Randy Klein took to the stage to discuss Crestron’s history, evolution, innovation, and continued growth.

“It’s truly an honor to be recognized by such a prestigious organization and to receive this award,” said Klein. “We’ve built a strong, dynamic and resilient company and one that will withstand time. How did we get here? It starts with hard work, commitment, focus, some risk, some luck, respect of the competition, and above all, people.”

“Speaking on behalf of myself and so many others in the audience, we were inspired by Randy’s insights and stories about leading Crestron’s innovation, transformation, and growth,” said Pamela Harper, Chair of the 2015 ACG NJ Corporate Growth Conference & Awards. “The vision and passion were evident, and I can understand why generations of talented employees would want to work with Crestron.”

Crestron’s unwavering commitment to its customers and the industry drives the development of innovative new products and solutions. Crestron is dedicated to doing this right here in New Jersey where the company has the best and brightest talent, enabling growth and innovation for years and decades to come.

“Work hard, lead by example, respect the people that got us here and above all, embrace change and opportunity. Because if we do, we will continue to become a bigger and better company year after year,” Klein concluded.
