Crestron GLS-SIM Provides Direct Connectivity For Sensors in Lighting Systems
Posted on Friday, June 12, 2009

System Integration Module Connects Sensors Directly to a Crestron Lighting Control System

ROCKLEIGH, NJ, June XX, 2009 – Now shipping, the GLS-SIM is a system integration module that connects Crestron Green Light™ and third-party sensors directly to the lighting control system via Cresnet, the Crestron platform that provides bidirectional communication and 24V power to devices on the network. The GLS-SIM works with occupancy sensors, photocells, partition sensors, and more, and can support multiple sensors in parallel. The GLS-SIM installs easily at the sensor location, mounting inside the electrical box behind the sensor or above the ceiling. Additional features enable quick and easy setup for use with a Crestron IPAC (Integrated Professional Automation Computer for Green Light Power Switching) or iLux™ integrated lighting and shade control system.
