Ensemble Designs Introduces New BrightEye Mitto Pro 2 Scan Converter

31 May, 2013 Grass Valley, California – Today Ensemble Designs is introducing a new model of it’s popular award winning, BrightEyeMitto scan converter. The new model, the BrightEye MittoPro 2 takes advantage of the company’s advanced manufacturing processes to produce a superior product at lower cost.  The new BrightEye Mitto Pro 2 will debut at the InfoComm show in Orlando June 12-14 at booth number 2253 and featured at Broadcast Asia in Singapore June 18-21 on Techtel’s stand 5J3-03.

“One of the benefits of manufacturing everything here at our factory in Grass Valley is that we can continually upgrade our process to take advantage of changes in technology, parts availability, and discounted hardware. That allows us to pass those savings on to the customer,” said David Wood, CEO of Ensemble Designs.

The BrightEye Mitto Pro 2 boasts superior image quality, HDMI or analog audio input, proc amp controls, adjustable timing, preset memories and a test signal generator to verify signal output from the unit.

“Having proc amp controls to correct for video deficiencies is incredibly helpful when you’re trying to play video from the web,” said John Pichitino, Technology Evangelist for Ensemble Designs. “We all know the quality variation on web based video – it’s all over the place. Being able to adjust for low chroma, washed out video, or errors in color is key in a quality scan converter. Couple that with preset memories that allow instantaneous switching between multiple windows open on a single computer screen – such as multiple Skype windows, and you have the powerful scan conversion solution that has established itself as the Rolls Royce of the market segment.”

“We are thrilled to offer the Mitto Pro 2 at such a competitive price point,” said Mondae Hott, Director of Sales at Ensemble Designs. “The advanced feature set and outstanding video quality continue to reinforce Mitto as the superior compact scan conversion solution.”

The BrightEye Mitto Pro 2 is an addition to the Mitto scan converter product line that includes the BrightEye Mitto 3G, and BrightEyeMitto HD – both of which feature full audio mixing and muxing, audio delay for maintaining lip-sync, as well as the proc amp, preset memories, adjustable timing and test signal generator of the Mitto Pro 2.

“When you compare bang for the buck, there’s nothing that comes close,” said Cindy Zuelsdorf, Marketing Czar for Ensemble Designs. “The tool set in the Mitto Pro 2 is specifically designed to get the best looking video to air with the greatest ease – and in the end, that’s what counts. I’m glad we can get it into the hands of our customers at such a great price.”
