Award−Winning Software−Based Enterprise Management Platform for AV Networks Offers Unique Approach to AV/IT Convergence

08 June 2016

Kramer Network, the company's new, award−winning IP−based enterprise software platform for managing AV networks, streaming and 3rd−party devices, is now being showcased in C Hall, Booth C6825 at InfoComm 2016 in Las Vegas. Kramer Network is currently in stock and available for purchase in the US and worldwide.

With any laptop, PC or tablet, Kramer Network lets IT or AV managers easily and remotely configure, route, control, and manage Kramer Pro−AV devices, room environments, and IP streaming devices from a single point in the network via a user−friendly web−based interface. The solution also supports API integration.

“Kramer Network is Kramer's innovative answer to the recent industry trend of AV/IT convergence," said Amit Keynan, Director of Product Management at Kramer. "The platform's flexible architecture, smart, intuitive GUI and scalability make managing a network of hundreds of ports as easy as handling a sports bar or retail facility, and it can be used as the main monitoring tool for IT managers in charge of AV networks,” added Keynan.

Kramer Network can be installed on standard, enterprise, virtual, or cloud servers for easy management and control of the entire AV and IP product range, as well as legacy AV, Dante™ and other devices.

The platform features enhanced security with intuitive user−access management of specific audio or video sources, rooms and predefined scenarios. IT and AV managers can also easily monitor the system’s health status and track the connection between a source and a destination

Enhancements to the platform's remote AV network management and control capabilities will be rolled out in Q4 of this year. The upgrade will give users the ability to make remote connections between inputs and outputs on a physical matrix. Users will also be able to update device firmware remotely with the click of a button from a centralized location.

The upgrade will enhance the solution's IT management capabilities with Reports showing device activity logs, user status and administrative logs for user activities. Search filters such as Device Name, User Name and Device Activities (based on time periods or specific dates) will be added to make locating devices easy and quick.
