Cory Schaeffer will be recognized at InfoComm 2012 as an NSCA 2012 Industry Mover & Shaker. She is being recognized for her leadership and mentoring of women in the audio-visual industry.

InfoComm Booth#C10132 —Listen Technologies is pleased to announce that Cory Schaeffer, VP of Sales Worldwide has been recognized as a NSCA 2012 Industry Movers & Shakers award winner.

NSCA developed this award to recognize individuals in the industry who show special drive and promise, or have already made a significant impact to carry the AV industry forward. Nominations were sought and judged on industry involvement, commitment to professional development and leadership.

Schaeffer is being recognized for her leadership and mentoring of women in the audio-visual industry. Her nomination was submitted anonymously by a member of the NSCA Board of Directors and the entry stated “Cory is one of the original creators of Women in AV group and has given countless hours into creating one of the best networks in the social media world.  She’s creating an environment for professional women within this industry stronger than has existed before.”

“It is an honor to be recognized by NSCA and our industry in this way,” Schaeffer said. “I love helping women in AV because I’m passionate about this industry and it’s an industry that champions women.  Both men and women have expressed to me their desire to get more women into this industry. There are many women behind the Women in AV group and I share this recognition with all of them. I couldn’t do what I do without their support and contribution. I continue to learn from others and I appreciate how giving people are willing to share their advice and knowledge with me.”
