Coopersburg, PA (September 11, 2014) – Lutron Electronics, the leader in energy-saving, wireless lighting and shade control, is expanding its popular Pico wireless remote control collection with a new 4-button style that works withRadioRA 2 and HomeWorks QS home control systems. This new solution offers the added convenience of scene control, providing a cost-effective alternative for areas where backlit keypads are not needed, and can be custom printed for use in unique applications.

The easy-to-add Pico wireless remotes use Lutron’s reliable Clear Connect® RF technology and offer a 10-year battery life. They can be used anywhere wireless control is needed, including mounted to a wall with double-stick tape, attached to a car visor, or on a tabletop pedestal, providing control from anywhere inside the home or car.

“Our Pico wireless remote collection has changed the way people interact with their lights and shades,” said David Weinstein, Vice-President of Residential Sales at Lutron. “These remotes provide points of control even in the most remote and inconvenient areas where controls didn’t previously exist. Expanding this collection gives homeowners the added convenience of controlling lights and shades together,” he said.

The new 4-button Pico remote controls with standard engraving options will be available for select Lutron products starting in October (HomeWorks QS, RadioRA 2, Grafik Eye® QS and Maestro® Wireless) and will be offered in white, light almond, ivory and black. Suggested list prices start at just $39. A personalized engraving option, as well as options for Lutron’s Quantum®, Energi Savr Node™, Caséta® Wireless and PowPak™ solutions will be added in January.
