MEDIA VISION USA DEMONSTRATES TAIDEN DIGITAL INFRA-RED LANGUAGE DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

San Francisco, CA, May 29, 2008 – Media Vision USA has announced it will demonstrate for the very first time the Taiden products, HCS-5100, fully digital infra-red language distribution system at the Media Vision USA booths during the InfoComm 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Taiden HCS-5100 fully digital Infra-red language distribution system brings the latest in digital infra-red technologies to the simultaneous interpretation system.  The TAIDEN HCS-5100 Series consists of the digital Infra-red control unit, digital Infra-red radiator, and digital Infra-red receiver.  The digital IR receiver can display the name of language so that delegates can quickly locate the language of their choice.  On the LCD screen, the volume adjustment, battery lifetime, and signal strength are also displayed.  This system is immune to interference from HF-driven lighting and is compatible with any other IR system that is compliant to IEC 61603-7.  It also features 270° super wide reception angle and transmitter combination mode.

Taiden HCS-5100 digital IR transmitter is capable of distributing a maximum of 4, 8, 16 or 32 audio channels and able to maintain conference hall privacy as Infra-red is unable to pass through opaque objects such as walls.  During the adjournment, the music mode can be used to feed music to all the channels.  HCS-5100 Digital Infra-red radiator synchronizes with control unit for powering On/Off, temperature control, and automatic gain control.

“By taking the Infra-red signal to the digital format, Taiden has dramatically raised the clarity of audio for the listener,” said Wesley Sutliff, Product Manager of Media Vision USA.  “We look forward to integrating this product into systems that are in need of assisted listening, language distribution, or both.”

The Taiden Digital IR language distribution system will be available throughout the existing Media Vision USA representation network in North America www.mediavision-usa.com/sales.php.
