CHICAGO - June 23, 2010 - NEC Display Solutions of America, a leading provider of commercial LCD display and projector solutions, announced today that its X461UN-TMX4 video wall and its VUKUNET ad-serving platform garnered industry awards at InfoComm 2010, the largest professional audio-visual tradeshow in the world.

NEC's 2x2 TileMatrixTM video wall, comprised of 46-inch ultra-narrow bezel displays, was selected by readers of Rental & Staging Systems Magazine as the Best Plasma or LCD Display. NEC's VUKUNET platform was selected by Systems Contractor News readers as one of the Most Innovative Digital Signage Products. Both magazines are publications of NewBay Media.

NEC Display Solutions recently made its full VUKUNET digital signage software management platform available, free of charge, to any network operator.

Each year, manufacturers across the professional AV and digital signage industries send nominations in several categories while a panel of industry experts narrows the list. Readers then vote for the finalists online, and the winners are chosen from the public votes.

In 2008, the company's 65-inch MultiSync LCD6520 earned top honors in the category of Best Plasma or LCD display after the company's 60-inch PlasmaSyncTM 60XM5 professional plasma display earned the distinction in 2007.
