NTI Adds H.264 HDMI Video Encoder to Its Product Line

Aurora, OH: Network Technologies Inc (NTI) today announced the addition of the H.264 HDMI Video Encoder to its popular line of video converters. The encoder connects between an HDMI video source and a media streaming server or online live broadcast platform to stream 1080p video over IP in real time.

The encoder accepts 1080p HD video at 60 frames per second and produces IP streams that can be sent on a standard Ethernet cable to most Internet live broadcast platforms, such as YouTube Live, Facebook Live, Twitter Live, Twitch, and IBM Upstream. Video can also be broadcast to SmartTVs using a media streaming server, such as Wowza, Xtreme Codes, Nginx, etc. The live video streaming device encodes video using H.264 compression and AAC/MP3 audio, and features an easy-to-use HTTP-based web interface to modify network and video quality settings. Users are able to enhance the video streams by adding text and logos.

The H.264 HDMI Video Encoder supports 100Base-T Ethernet connection, and has Linux built-in. It supports RTMP, RTSP, UDP, HTTP, HLS, FLV and ONVIF protocols. Unicast and multicast streaming allows the same HDMI video source to be encoded in two different formats and resolutions.

The HD-ENC-H264 is ideal for use with hotel TV systems, live broadcasts, online teaching, IP video surveillance, video conferencing, digital signage, and other applications that require live streaming of HDMI video.

Available for immediate sale, the H.264 HDMI Video Encoder costs $420.
