NTI Introduces Low-Cost Liquid Detection Rope Sensor

Aurora, OH: Network Technologies Inc (NTI) introduces a Low-Cost Liquid Detection Rope-Style Sensor to its popular line of environmental monitoring sensors that are compatible with the ENVIROMUX-MINI-LXO and ENVIROMUX-2D/5D/16D.

The ENVIROMUX-LD-LCx-y Low-Cost Liquid Detection Rope-Style Sensor is made of 100% waterproof electronics and guards against flooding. The 2-wire cable is connected to the ENVIROMUX DIGITAL IN terminals, while the liquid detection rope is placed in selected areas for monitoring. When conductive liquid or moisture comes into contact with the sensor rope cable, it will close the circuit and trigger an alarm on the ENVIROMUX system, which will subsequently send warnings to personnel based on pre-configured alert settings.

The water sensor cable is made of PVC twisted pair with stainless 316 elements and has a diameter of 0.14" (3.5 mm). Purchasable water sensor cable lengths are 1/10/50/100/200/400/600 feet and the available 2-wire cable lengths for connection to the ENVIROMUX system are 5/10/20/50/100 feet, ensuring that all necessary areas are effectively monitored.

Available for immediate sale, the Low-Cost Liquid Detection Rope-style Sensor costs between $21 and $1818 depending on selected lengths.
