Optoma Unveils Laser, HDR10, 4K UHD and Ultra-Short Throw Home Theater Projectors at CES 2017

Industry-leading projector innovations challenge TV's place in the home with best screen size and price-per-inch.

At CES, Optoma is unveiling and showcasing: 

Optoma 4K UST: The Optoma 4K Ultra Short Throw (UST) laser projector delivers the ultimate in home theater, combining incredible imagery with high style and function. With 4K UHD resolution, HDR10 wide color gamut, and an ultra short throw of just 0.18 for up to a 140-inch image size from just inches away, an incredible cinematic experience awaits. With an estimated price of $19,999, it will lead the market in quality and affordability in the premium home theater space. This projector will be available in Q3 2017.

Optoma ZH55: The 1080p Optoma ZH55 laser projector delivers stellar images and the ultimate in reliability. This high definition laser phosphor projector features 3,000 lumens of brightness, 20,000:1 contrast ratio, Rec. 709 color and HDR wide color gamut, and dual HDMI ports with MHL. The installation-friendly ZH55 has a throw ratio of 1.06 along with a zoom of 1.36x. Availability and pricing to be confirmed at a later date.  

Optoma UHD60: For home theater aficionados, the Optoma UHD60 projector delivers true 4K UHD for the ultimate in image quality. This 3,840 x 2,160 resolution home cinema projector with vertical lens shift will be available for just $2,799 in Q2 2017.

Optoma IntelliGo: While the "Pico" market has been limited by lower brightness levels in the past, the Optoma IntelliGo delivers a sharp, bright image in a highly portable package. Built with mainstream consumer needs in mind an Android 4.4 OS with a customizable home screen and the AptoideTV app store with access to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Spotify, Pandora and more. In addition, it is WiFi and Bluetooth compatible, has USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 ports, and offers 2D to 3D content conversion. It will be available in late Q1 2017 for just $599. 

Optoma HD29Darbee: The successor to one of the brand's most popular high definition home cinema projectors, the Optoma HD28DSE, the Optoma HD29Darbee features 3,000 lumens, 30,000:1 contrast ratio, and a DARBEE Visual Presence™ image enhancement technology.* Its Rec.709 and sRGB color modes ensure brilliant and accurate representation of colors for PC, Mac and HDTV broadcast content and color spaces. It will be available Q1 for $699. 

GT1080Darbee: Ideal for gaming enthusiasts, the GT1080Darbee short throw projector is the successor to the popular GT1080, offering 1080p resolution, Rec. 709 color, dual HDMI ports, 3,000 lumens of brightness, and a 25,000:1 contrast ratio. The Optoma GT1080Darbee features a new Enhanced Gaming Mode with a 16ms response time while the integrated DARBEE Visual Presence™ image enhancement technology* brings revolutionary levels of depth and realism to the images. It will be available in Q2 for $699.
