Optoma Introduces Reliable, Adaptable Laser and Ultra Short Throw Projectors to Meet Education and Corporate Market Needs

Optoma Additionally Launches “Education First” Program to Drive Value to Schools

Optoma, a world-leading manufacturer of video and audio products, today announced three new projectors designed to meet the education and corporate markets’ growing needs for reliability and flexibility coupled with stellar image performance. The Optoma ZH400UST, ZW300UST and ZW300USTi deliver powerful punches: offering impressive image performance, incredible reliability, and the ultimate in flexibility with ultra short throw capabilities. In addition, the company today has launched its “Education First” program to bring insights, incentives and customer support to K-12 and higher learning institutions.

Optoma ZH400UST
The Optoma ZH400UST combines the best of what projection offers today—a 1080p high-definition, bright and colorful image, from just inches away from the screen or projection surface. Featuring a reliable design, equipped with several digital I/Os and PC Free USB Media Player for playback of video and audio files along with viewing of images and presentations shared directly from any USB device, it is equipped with state-of-the-art laser phosphor display technology to offer the absolute best in picture quality and color performance—with an estimated 20,000+ hours of light source performance for virtually maintenance-free operation.

Optoma ZW300UST/ ZW300USTi
Like the ZH400UST, the Optoma ZW300UST and ZW300USTi combine laser phosphor image quality and reliability, with an ultra short throw lens making them extremely flexible in any environment. They additionally feature deep black levels with an impressive 100000:1 contrast ratio which, when combined with the projector’s color capabilities, provide a captivating viewing experience. The ZW300USTi takes its performance even further by delivering next generation TouchBEAM interactive touch technology, compatible and compliant with both Windows and OS X.

Adaptable and Flexible, with Multiple Playback Options
With respective throw ratios of 0.25:1 and 0.27:1, the ZH400UST and ZW300UST/ ZW300USTi can display 100+ inch high-definition images from only 13 to 19 inches away from the projection surface, making these projectors ideal for space-constrained environments such as classrooms, meeting rooms, boardrooms and digital signage applications.

In addition, these innovative new Optoma projectors feature an MHL-powered HDMI port that supports popular streaming and presentation dongles such as Optoma’s HDCast Pro and Amazon’s FireTV, while the USB port can be utilized to power Optoma’s WHD200 Wireless HMDI system or Google’s Chromecast media dongle. The powerful 10 watt speakers in all three projectors enhance presentations, videos and audio files and simplify audio integration.
