PureLink Introduces *NEW* HDMI Audio Extractor with Downmixing
Posted on Tuesday, February 26, 2013
RAMSEY, NJ - FEBRUARY 26, 2013 - PureLink™ introduces
model HEXA01 Audio Extractor for HDMI with downmixing and Auto-EDID management. This versatile device provides a simple and convenient way to extract audio from an HDMI signal with outputs for analog stereo and digital S/PDIF. The HEXA-01 is also equipped with user-friendly features such as front panel LED signal indicators and Auto-EDID for simplified EDID management between the input source and display.

An advanced solution for audio extraction, the HEXA-01 is designed to decode and process multi-channel audio for use with any audio amplification system.
Audio is extracted from an HDMI source while the video portion of the signal is split into two identical HDMI outputs. When the audio is output via analog or S/PDIF, it will down mix multichannel PCM to 2 channel PCM audio.

PureLink's HEXA-01 supports HDMI 1.4 Deep Color, as well as full 3D and HDMI Loop-Through on/off.
