Snell Appoints Paul Gullett as Global Sales Director
Posted on Tuesday, September 29, 2009

READING, U.K. — Sept. 29, 2009 — Snell today announced the appointment of Paul Gullett as the company's global sales director, a role in which he will lead continued strategic growth of the company's sales activities and develop valuable new global capabilities in key account management, partnership management, and solution selling. Gullett's noteworthy experience within the industry includes management and leadership roles in expanding the global reach of high-profile corporations and increasing adoption of their technologies and solutions.

"Paul has a keen understanding of the impact of technology on organizations and how to convey the potential of that technology to managers and executives in terms that address their business needs and goals," said Simon Derry, Snell CEO. "He is skilled both in directing internal growth strategy and in creating valuable partnerships across the worldwide film and broadcast market. We're confident that Paul will be a strong addition to the company, and we are very pleased to welcome him to Snell."

Gullett joins Snell having spent two and half years at Tandberg running the company's European sales organization. Focused on solutions, Gullett developed a combined product and solutions approach that changed the way Tandberg interacts with its customers. To support this solutions approach, he implemented a key customer accounts program, created a global partner strategy to extend the reach of the organization, and launched an accelerated growth plan to move the company into new markets and regions. Prior to working with Tandberg, Gullett spent 10 years at Sun Microsystems in a variety of roles, with the last being U.K. sales director overseeing 250 people with a budget of $500 million and working with customers across many different market areas.

Gullett will be based at Snell's Danehill office in Reading and report directly to Derry.
