READING, U.K. — Dec. 10, 2009 — The United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP15), hosted Dec. 7-18 in Copenhagen by the Danish foreign ministry, is being broadcast to countries across the world in high quality, thanks to Snell's Alchemist Ph.C – HD motion-compensated standards converter. Negotiators, ministers, and world leaders have assembled in the Danish capital to take part in the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change, an annual review of the implementation of the convention. The COP adopts decisions and resolutions that make up a detailed set of rules for practical and effective implementation of the United Nations convention. The COP also serves as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (CMP), which adopts decisions and resolutions on the implementation of protocol provisions.
