Thinklogical TLX CATx KVM System Wins NewBay Media’s NAB 2016
Posted on Wednesday, May 4, 2016

MILFORD, Conn. – May 4, 2016 -- Thinklogical, a global manufacturer of secure, high performance KVM extension and matrix switching systems for video-rich application environments, announced today that its new TLX CATx KVM and Video Extension and Switching System is the recipient of NewBay Media’s “Best of Show” Award, presented at NAB Show 2016 in Las Vegas by Digital Video Magazine.

NewBay Media’s Best of Show Awards are evaluated by a panel of engineers and industry experts, and are selected based on innovation, feature set, cost efficiency and performance in serving the industry.

TLX CATx is the first KVM system on the market that delivers full resolution, full color depth, uncompressed, 4K video (up to 4096 x 2160 resolution, 4:4:4 color depth) at 60Hz frame rate using only two CAT6a cables. The TLX CATx product line includes a suite of video and KVM extenders and a full range of matrix switches from 12 to 640 ports, and is priced to be highly competitive with compressed and IP-based KVM and video signal management solutions from other vendors. TLX reduces the cost and infrastructure required to manage and edit content created in the UHD/4K video standard without compromising quality, resolution or performance.

“Recognition with an award at the NAB Show from NewBay Media’s Broadcast & Video Group is a strong vote of confidence and admiration from our leading industry publications,” said NewBay Media Broadcast & Video Group Vice President & Group Publisher Eric Trabb.

“Thinklogical’s TLX CATx series disrupts the KVM market by delivering uncompressed, full resolution 4K video at an unprecedented, highly competitive price point,” said Thinklogical President & CEO Joe Pajer. “We’re pleased to be recognized by Digital Video Magazine for the innovation and performance TLX brings to the broadcast and post-production markets.”
