Session to Discuss How to Ensure Exceptional Audio Quality Using Today's Diverse Range of Platforms and Applications

SUDBURY, Mass. -- Oct. 21, 2013 -- Revolabs today announced that its Chief Technology Officer and Executive Vice President of New Business Development Tim Root will be presenting a session titled "Audio Technology for Today's Meetings" at AVX 2013. The presentation will take place on Oct. 29 from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. at the AVX Pavilion in Denver. Topics will include how to use dynamic applications and multiple platforms to provide optimal audio experiences to listeners.

"As enterprises continue to evolve in the way they engage in both internal and external communication, they must negotiate the wide range of conferencing solutions being introduced within today's marketplace," said Root. "As a result, applications are becoming more complex and we are seeing the emergence of a variety of different platforms designed to share data more effectively, ranging from conference room PCs to tablet technology. This session will help users assess their audio conferencing requirements and discuss how to implement easy-to-use unified communication solutions that provide flawless audio capabilities."

Using a combination of case studies and best practices from the marketplace, the session will explain how to provide high-quality audio using today's wide range of conferencing solutions. The presentation will also seek to clarify the complexities of different applications and help participants understand how to use the variety of new platforms available to satisfy the requirements of today's corporate communication settings. Upon completion of the session, attendees will understand how to select and leverage technologies that are suited to their conferencing needs and comprehend the finer points of how to provide high-quality audio to listeners.

Root has a long history of developing media and telepresence solutions for the video communications marketplace and more than 13 years of executive-level experience in both public and venture-backed companies. He holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Northeastern University, a master's degree in electrical engineering from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and a dual master's degree in engineering and management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology/Sloan School of Management.
