Within any organization, there are members who come in and leave a profound impression on the business and the people within it. For Vistacom, one of those people was Destiny Heimbecker. Destiny worked for the company for 16 years, but sadly passed away after a two-year battle with cancer on May 13, 2018. To honor her memory and help raise money for a cause that’s near and dear to our hearts, Vistacom will hold its inaugural The Destiny Heimbecker Memorial Charity Golf Tournament, which will take place on Monday, Sept. 30.

Benefits from the tournament will go to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance (OCRA), the largest private funder of ovarian cancer research that helps educate the public and healthcare providers about early diagnosis for the disease.

Vistacom has partnered with a number of its manufacturer partners to offer the shotgun start tournament at Brookside Country Club in Macungie, Pa., coupled with lunch at 11:30 a.m., shotgun start at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. post-event cocktail reception and prize ceremony.
