CHARLOTTE, North Carolina – September 1, 2020 – McCann Systems is represented once again in the Commercial Integrator 40 Influencers Under 40 list for the sixth year in a row. Matt Wilson, Director of Marketing at McCann Systems, is honored to be featured among the talented group of AV professionals.
The 40 Under 40 list by Commercial Integrator is an annual contest for rising stars in the technology and AV integration market. Veterans of the industry nominate contestants and judge on a panel. In 2019, 40% of registered attendees at InfoComm were under the age of 40. With an influx of young talent making their mark on AV, six straight winners on the McCann Systems’ team is a fantastic feat.
When asked about how he got into the Professional AV world, Matt said, “I love technology, and I love building. Being in the AV industry affords me a chance to do both- while working with some of the brightest teammates in the space”. Matt was nominated by Nick Dawson, the 2019 winner of the prize.
Additionally, the Managed Services team at McCann Systems continues its record growth, adding three team members this month.
Oscar Farias joins the New York/New Jersey team with over seven years of experience being a service tech. He’s a huge soccer fan and plays the flute.
Derek Keefe is an AV support veteran and joins the Boston team, in addition to being an avid golfer.
Nick Mesenbourg has an extensive background in audio production and event coordination in the Northeast region. Nick loves hanging out near the ocean when he’s not practicing AV as a service.
