This class will provide an overview of the VIP Series encoders and decoders, including the new VIP-300H-U Ultra HD/4K IP Video Systen, comprehensive training on the intuitive VPX IP Video Management Software, as well as an introduction to the new PureStream™ VIP-NET series of network switches.
Attendees will:
the requirements to identifying network needs for A/V over IP system design Understand subnet masks and IP addressing
Understand network switch requirements such as IGMP, JumboFrame, VLAN, and more

Note: A second MPX course is also being offered at 2pm on February 15, 2018. Geared towards Content Managers, this additional course, entitled "MPX100 II and Server Management Software: Complete Campaign Creation and Scheduling," is a deeper dive into the MPX solution (3 hours). While not necessary for CTS RU Credit it is highly recommended that you attend this additional MPX webinar, focusing on complete digital signage campaign creation and scheduling. For integrators and rep firms alike this additional training will be essential for educating end users on making optimal use of both the MPX player and the associated software.
