Sivoia is the latest addition to the Product Hall of Fame, which already includes Lutron’s HomeWorks® and RadioRA home control systems
Coopersburg, PA (October 14, 2011) – Energy-saving lighting control manufacturer Lutron Electronics is pleased to announce that its original Sivoia automated shading system was one of five products inducted into the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) Product Hall of Fame, as announced in September in Indianapolis.
The CEDIA community first heard of the Sivoia system in 2000 when Lutron introduced them to the exciting, new business of automated shading systems. Automated shading systems offer the convenience of one-button control (including open, closed and preset levels) of every window treatment in a room or entire home.
Building on this initial Sivoia product launch, Lutron continues to introduce line extensions and new products that enhance the homeowner’s lifestyle, while helping installers sustain and grow their businesses. Since its initial introduction, the original Sivoia product line has been expanded to include both wired and wireless versions of automated roller shades, Roman shades, vertical and horizontal draperies and Venetian blinds – all which can be easily installed in any new or existing home. Lutron’s HomeWorks system was inducted into the Product Hall of Fame in 2008, followed by its RadioRA system in 2009. Lutron is the only company with three products in the Hall of Fame.
