MONTREAL, Quebec — November 10, 2021 — Matrox® Video is proud to announce that VSTECS Holdings Limited, an official partner for HP® Z-class workstations, has selected the HP ZCentral 4R 1U rack workstation and Matrox D-Series video wall graphics cards to power display walls.
VSTECS offers fully integrated video wall systems in HP’s powerful 1U workstations, including advanced video wall management software from Beijing Dingsheng HD Tech. Co., Ltd., to help power video walls comprising multiple 4K or HD displays.
Whether driving commercial narrow bezel displays, direct view LED video walls, laser projectors, DLP rear projection cubes, or other video wall display technologies, the need for density and power in the video wall processing is evolving to drive changing video wall models. These include large front-of-the-room video walls in control rooms, personal video walls used by individual operators, operating room video walls in medical applications, and rich-media-content video walls for showcasing performing arts, sports, advertising, and visualization.
“Matrox has certified the HP ZCentral 4R 1U rack workstation with Matrox D-Series video wall graphics cards,” said Samuel Recine, vice president of sales – AV/IT Group; Americas & Asia Pacific. “VSTECS is combining best-of-breed hardware and software to serve their customers, and Matrox is excited to see the business model evolving to support the exacting needs of the video wall market.”
“HP has cooperated with VSTECS and Matrox on thermal and performance testing under full video wall load on the ZCentral 4R 1U rack workstation to meet the demanding needs of video wall customers,” said Yanfeng Mao, product manager at HP China. “VSTECS aims to offer cutting-edge, PC-based video wall processors in a rack form factor to handle a mix of local applications, captured content, and content streaming to and from video walls.”
“Video walls still require a very personal touch at each site to best serve customers,” said Jingyu Zhao, product manager at VSTECS. “We are trying to remove some of the complexity for the video wall integrators we serve when they need solutions that require a combination of density and features while sustaining premier performance in many different applications.”
