iDR is a 16in/16out DSP mixing and processing solution for installed and live audio systems that's easily expandable, packed with processing muscle and endowed with a fantastic selection of remote control options. The installer chooses the right combination of products from the iDR family to create ‘set and forget' tailored audio distribution and control systems. Day-to-day operation is incredibly simple and convenient, with a range of wallplates and other remote controllers available to suit the application. As you would expect from Allen & Heath, the iDR is fully capable of delivering concert quality audio and offers both 48k and 96k operating modes. iDR-8 has a fixed architecture with full processing for all inputs and outputs, so the installer does not have to think about conserving or allocating resources. iDR-8 has a 48kHz, 16x16 mode and an audiophile 96kHz, 8x8 mode. No DSP or delay expanders are needed - everything is included in the standard unit. iDR-8's processing includes preamp, fader, mute and polarity control, parametric EQ,crossover filters, compressors and gates with sidechain filter, limiters, crosspoint matrix, input and output patchbays, stereo/group linking, 16-level ducker, ambient noise sensing, automatic mic mixer, two independent pagers and signal generator for lineup tones and pink noise. The equivalent analogue processing equipment would easily fill several racks!
