Atlas Sound, the leader in commercial audio solutions for over 80 years, is announces the release of the GD87A 8" in-ceiling speaker. The GD87A uses an industry standard 8" coaxial speaker with an integrated 8-watt, 70.7V transformer and high quality press fit grille. 

 

The GD87A is designed to meet installation performance and aesthetic requirements with a lower price point than similar models. The 8" coaxial loudspeaker has wide range frequency response and excellent sensitivity to ensure even and intelligible sound distribution throughout an installed area. The integrated 70.7V transformer includes power taps from 1 to 8 watts allowing integrators flexibility during installation. The press fit grille and baffle are paintable to match any décor style.
