The 49th Annual R&D 100 Awards salutes the 100 most technologically significant products introduced into the marketplace in the past year. The awards have long been a benchmark of excellence for industry sectors as diverse as telecommunications, high-energy physics, software, manufacturing, and biotechnology.

VirtuaCore is a desktop virtualization computer sharing system. It is computer hardware that multiplies one dual-core PC into two workstations or one quad-core PC into four workstations.
