Display Express software expands to include Windows 10
Posted on Tuesday, January 19, 2016

Windows 10Contemporary Research announces that its Display Express software can be installed on Windows 10 Pro PCs. Display Express is a versatile application that enables simplified control of TVs across an entire facility, sending commands to TV controllers through the same RF coax as TV channels. No complex programming is required; users can add channels, controllers, commands and scheduling by accessing Web-based browser pages. Display Express is fully scalable, serving control from a small site to stadiums with over a thousand TVs.

Display Express solutions converge the best of Ethernet and digital RF technology. Users can access all system pages and control panels through a network, and control commands are carried over RF coax, eliminating the need for additional control wiring or Ethernet resources.

Contemporary Research Software Developer Jennifer Oppenheim states, “From the beginning, we created Display Express as a universal application, able to serve Web pages to any browser, from IE to Edge, Chrome to Opera, IOS to Android. The software first ran on Windows XP Pro and can be installed on all Pro versions through Windows 10, as well on Windows Server. It’s a very stable ASP.Net Internet application that’s understood and supported by IT departments.”
