HDMI 2.0 Fiber Optic Extender

Hall Research has introduced the FXT-460, a compact and economical fiber optic extender for full-bandwidth HDMI 2.0 to 10 Kilometers. It uses just one strand of LC-terminated fiber optic cable and supports video resolutions up to 4K 60 Hz with multi-channel audio. The system provides advanced capabilities such as embedding and de-embedding analog or digital audio, HDCP 2.2, bidirectional RS-232 extension, and EDID management. The product supports both single mode (to 10 km) and multi mode (to 300 m) fiber. /p>

The FXT-460 Transmitter provides an HDMI input with a corresponding HDMI loop output. Audio is extracted from the HDMI input and available as both analog (L/R) and Digital SPDIF (TOSLINK) on corresponding connectors. The Sender also provides analog and digital audio inputs that can be extended to the remote Receiver.

The Receiver provides an HDMI output along with extended RS-232 and extracted audio in both 3.5mm stereo analog and TOSLINK digital formats.
