Kramer's First "Roadshow" Training Event
Posted on Friday, April 27, 2012

Hampton, New Jersey – Kramer Electronics’ Designing in a Digital Age Road Show training event, held on March 20, 2012 in Chicago, IL, was an immense success. A packed house of over 80 attendees joined Kramer and other road show sponsors, for a one day technology workshop that taught how to design and implement professional digital AV solutions.

“The response to our first Kramer Academy Road Show was overwhelming. Numerous Kramer clients had previously indicated that they would like to gain a better understanding of how to design and work with digital signals; resulting in this conception of the Kramer Road Show,” stated Malissa Dillman, Director of Training and Education at Kramer Electronics.

Kramer’s Road Show entitled Designing in a Digital Age provides attendees with a full understanding of digital signals, how to design and avoid common mistakes with EDID, HDMI and HDCP.  “The most successful and unique component of the Kramer Academy Road Show was the concept of taking only one day to delve into all aspects of digital systems design.  We completed the day employing what we had learned into real world applications; it is an extremely comprehensive training program,” Dillman continued. The entire event was free of charge, and participants also earned 10 InfoComm CTS Renewal Units for attending.

In addition to Kramer, other sponsors of this highly successful event in Chicago were Da-Lite, Chief, Biamp, Salitek and Mitsubishi.  Attendees not only received a great education and 10 InfoComm CTS RU’s, they also were provided with a wonderful breakfast and lunch.  Plus, several attendees also won door prizes, including one lucky attendee that took home a brand new Apple® iPad®.
