Lutron Electronics Empowers Fixture Manufacturers to Configure LED Drivers On-Demand at Their Factories with QwikFig™ for Hi-lume® A-Series LED Driver

With QwikFig for Hi-lume A-Series LED Drivers, specifiers gain quick access to Lutron LED drivers for fast-paced jobs where time is of the essence.

Coopersburg, PA (May 5, 2015) – Lutron Electronics, the leader in energy-saving wireless lighting control and shade control, today launched QwikFig for Hi-lume A-Series LED Drivers – a novel program that makes it easy for fixture manufacturers to stock and configure Lutron LED drivers in their factories, on-demand. Not only does the solution reduce the time and cost for manufacturers to list Lutron LED drivers with their fixtures, but it also improves lead times on fast-paced projects where specifiers need products on-site quickly.

The A-Series driver line is one of the most versatile LED drivers on the market, with over 5,000 SKUs to select from. Now, lighting fixture manufacturers that need to meet their customers’ fast-paced or discretionary project requests do not have to custom-order LED drivers for each project – using QwikFig, seven base models can be configured into 1,000 unique SKUs, improving customer delivery time.

Manufacturers that enroll in the QwikFig for Hi-lume A-Series LED Drivers program can order a configuration kit from Lutron that consists of a configurator and a label printer. They will also receive configuration software, which conveniently runs on a PC or a Windows tablet. The tools enable them to order programmable LED driver units from Lutron and configure these units to their specific lighting fixture needs in their factory, on demand. The QwikFig program entitles the fixture manufacturer to a special OEM account on myLutron.com for easy accessibility to the latest software tool, videos and literature to help them implement the QwikFig program successfully.

Beyond the obvious time-saving benefits, QwikFig for Hi-lume A-Series LED Drivers also make it simple and cost-effective for manufacturers to stock Lutron LED drivers at their locations. With the ability to configure LED drivers on-site, manufacturers only need to stock a few of programmable drivers and then program them as needed to meet customer requests.
