MEDIA VISION USA UNVEILS THE NEW HCS-8307D DELEGATE WITH 7” TOUCH PANEL CONTROL
Posted on Tuesday, June 1, 2010
MEDIA VISION USA UNVEILS THE NEW HCS-8307D DELEGATE WITH 7” TOUCH PANEL CONTROL San Francisco, CA, June 1, 2010 – Media Vision USA will display, for the first time at InfoComm 2010 Booth #C7396, the TAIDEN 8300 Series Conference Solution, including the new HCS-8307D(C) delegate (chairman) unit. This solution uses TAIDEN’s newest technology, CongressMatrix™, adding several new features for audio processing and distribution. The 8307 delegate units, with versatile features, are excellent for use in council chambers, hotels, auditoriums, and any other application requiring high quality sound and intuitive control over the meeting.

Most noticeably on the new HCS-8307 is a 7” touch panel for the participant interface. This panel gives the user several features that make the meeting more efficient at sharing information and making decisions. The HCS-8307 can access the internet (wired or wireless), view video content from the 8300 System, vote on proposals created in the TAIDEN software, use the built-in video camera to have a one to one conversation with another member of the delegation or to take a photograph to use with information about the user. The touch panel provides an easy method for participants to ask for assistance, request stationary or beverages, and can also be used as a teleprompter when giving speeches.

Other new features on the new contribution units include enhanced reliability, with the new HCS-8307 by adopting the “Closed-Loop” cabling topology. Now contribution units are connected at both ends to the Main Unit, so if one unit in the chain goes down the others are protected against system failure or malfunction because power, data and audio signals are still being sent to the all of the remaining units.

The new HCS-8307 also makes improvements to the listening experience by adding another built in speaker (two per unit) for stereo output of program audio.

“TAIDEN has yet again increased the level of sophistication for their conferencing solutions,” says Fardad Zabetian, President and CEO of Media Vision USA, “The new 8307 is packed with features that allow for more control, easier access and improved performance.”

“TAIDEN’s new line of conference equipment really brings to the table a system that is IT friendly,” added Wesley Sutliff, Product Manager of Media Vision USA, “The 8300 system can send audio across fiber optic, twisted pair, or traditional analog cables and connectors.” Additionally, the same features that make the HCS-4100 Digital Conference Series such a powerful tool in Conference Management, camera follow audio, electronic voting, and automatic audio and video recording, are all present in the new 8300 series.

Information on the TAIDEN HCS-8307 is available throughout the existing Media Vision USA representation network in North America www.mediavision-usa.com/sales.html
