Shure Celebrates Infocomm International's AV Week
Posted on Tuesday, September 16, 2008

Wireless training to address challenging RF environments is on the agenda

NILES, IL, September 10, 2008—The third annual AV Week, sponsored by InfoComm International, kicks off on October 19, 2008.  AV Week spotlights the role of AV professionals who stage events, amplify music and speeches, and design and integrate sound systems and displays into public spaces from hearing rooms and boardrooms to campuses and control centers.

To help promote AV Week and raise awareness for the technology changes facing the industry, Shure will conduct an Advanced Wireless Seminar in High Point, North Carolina, on October 14, and an all day class on wireless microphones at LDI 2008 in Las Vegas, Nevada, on October 23.

“As the spectrum becomes more crowded and the use of wireless audio equipment increases, wireless system setup becomes much more important,” said Gino Sigismondi, Training Manager for Shure Incorporated.  “These seminars and classes are designed to give AV professionals the tools they need to maximize the performance of wireless systems and better navigate their way through a constantly changing RF environment.”
