Customer Inspiration Leads Lectern Redesign

CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. – Spectrum Industries, Inc., Chippewa Falls, Wisc. based manufacturer, is announcing the release of the Freedom Lectern XRS Elite, the latest redesign in Spectrum’s line of lecterns. The Freedom XRS Elite is a customer-inspired lectern design that is ready for YOUR use—focusing on YOUR needs and achieving YOUR results.

“The Freedom XRS Elite is a beautifully designed, ADA compliant lectern,” said Scott Dorn, Spectrum Industries Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “We are excited to offer this lectern in our new Spectrum Expressions color options, creating a lectern which is easy to integrate in both function and style.”

Forward-thinking and ADA-compatible, the design allows for electronic height adjustments from 32 inches to 40 inches ensuring all presenters are comfortable—whether sitting or standing. The whisper-quiet, powerful lift system raises and lowers in seconds and has a lift capacity of over 500 pounds. An all steel chassis makes for a strong and durable lectern. The Freedom XRS Elite features a full modesty panel and replaceable steel toe kick which create a polished appearance.

Being a fully configurable lectern, it is easy to make the Freedom XRS Elite fit all your needs. The rack cabinet and Overbridge Control Console can be positioned on the left or right, the design is integrator-friendly, and new technology can be easily installed. Heavy-duty adjustable flip-up shelves can be added to either or both sides, adding 16 inches of worksurface per shelf. The Overbridge Control Console option has a removable panel for easy AV integration and makes updating technology in the future simple and cost-effective.

With roller bearings, the rack cabinet smoothly moves to its location and locks in place making it effortlessly changeable for diverse needs. The generous storage, 14 rack units front and 10 rack units back, allows for a large amount of AV technology. Because of its customer-focused design, the lectern is easy to service and wire, with simple access through an open rear back panel and lockable side hatches. The rack design includes superior chimney-effect ventilation to keep installed electronics cool. The optional logo panel allows for customization, promoting your unique brand through a naturally elegant and functional lectern.

The new Spectrum Expressions line of laminate and metal colors is designed to match your furniture to your room décor. Spectrum carries a number of laminates in stock to provide a short lead time. The metal colors provide a tough, wear-resistant finish to metal parts. The laminates cover all worksurfaces and matching vinyl edge trim provides the appearance of elegant custom built cabinetry.

The Freedom XRS Elite is built and shipped from our factory in Chippewa Falls, WI. It is warranted to be free of all defects in materials and workmanship for 10 years, electrical system 2 years.
