Spectrum Introduces New Optio Collaboration Tables

Description: Spectrum redesigns collaboration tables to include a variety of configured options to make these tables flexible to meet the needs of each unique application.

CHIPPEWA FALLS, WI – Spectrum Industries, Inc., Chippewa Falls, WI based manufacturer, is excited to announce the introduction of the Optio Collaboration Table.  Latin for “options”, the Optio Table is a clean, elegant table that can be as simple, or as detailed with features, depending on the customer’s needs. Groups can truly fuse their collaboration styles around an innovative power-rich solution.

Modular Choices

Configured for any environment, the Optio Collaboration Table is available in a variety of table sizes ranging from 60 to 96 inches long and in heights from 27 to 42 inches with fixed legs or electric lift legs allowing for the sit to stand functionality. Casters are also available making these tables easy to move around the room, allowing each group to collaborate seamlessly. The one piece 48” wide worksurface available in a straight or tapered worksurface, is made with high-pressure laminated on 1” engineered wood, making it one of the most durable tables in the industry. The Optio Table is also ADA compliant with at least one location being handicap accessible.

Offering Standard Power and Sharing Cutouts

With the new Optio Collaboration Table, Spectrum is offering standard cutouts on the worksurface. Over 12 cutouts are available to fit your most popular power and sharing systems, from major manufacturers like Crestron®, Extron®, and Kramer®.

“Spectrum is one of the first manufacturer’s to offer standard cutouts for the leading power and sharing systems within their collaboration furniture,” states Robert Kensigner, Vice President of Sales. “By pre-configuring tables, we make it easy for organizations and system integrators to accommodate their preferred technology. It also drastically reduces the lead times when compared to custom fabricated products.”

Convenience and Function

As comfortable in the corporate environment as it is in the classroom, the Optio Collaboration Table comes with a 7” wide wire tray for simple power applications or a larger AV Technology channel which can accommodate the largest power, communication and sharing systems while safely securing and hiding cables and switching boxes. The optional display stand, which can hold up to 100 pounds, aide’s group visualization on projects and presentations. Kensinger states “Spectrum believes each organization should define the power and sharing technology that best suits their needs and that the table should support that technology. Not the other way around.”

Spectrum Expressions

The Optio Collaboration Table can be ordered in the Spectrum Expressions line of laminate and metal colors. The Expressions line features dozens of color combinations, which are designed to match our furniture to your room décor. The laminates cover all work surfaces and the matching edge trim provides the appearance of elegant custom-built furniture. And the newest laminate, Chalk White Dry Erase, is perfect for the collaboration setting as users can simply use the table itself to brainstorm their ideas. The metal is covered with a powder coat finish that provides a tough, wear-resistant surface to all metal components.
