EX-1UTP-IR-70-AMP extender set consists of an HDBaseT 70m/230ft Transmitter paired with the groundbreaking WyreStorm AMP-001-010 HDBaseT Class D Digital Audio Amplifier as a receiving and repeating device for the most effective and flexible method of single-cable distribution and control of an individual source available.
Connecting the HDMI source to the HDBaseT transmitter enables the source to be transmitted over HDBaseT and received by the AMP-001-010, where the transmission can be broken out via HDMI to a local display as well as repeated a further 70m/230ft to additional AMPs if desired, up to 7 times for distribution spanning up to half a kilometer or a third of a mile in total.
In terms of control, the EX-1UTP-IR-70-AMP features full control of source, display and AMP via bidirectional IR and addressable serial control of the AMP, with control protocols available for all leading control systems.
The AMP itself is a compact, feature rich and highly versatile device that simplifies, combines and improves the relationship between HDMI, HDBaseT and stereo audio for integrators.
Whether distributing from the HDBaseT transmitter to one or multiple AMPs, each incorporates 3:1 audio switching from a centralized AV source, ARC or a locally connected audio input, such as an iPod, Sonos, or laptop, and can be used centrally, in-line or as a display device for one of the most powerful versatile applications of HDBaseT technology around.
Including 2.1 audio amplification with sub-woofer and analogue stereo pre-outs, the AMP offers superior audio to commercial TV displays with significant improvements in amplification sound replication at display zones offered by 25w per channel stereo and sub-woofer outputs for a sound that really delivers.
