Wyrestorm Technologies - MX-1616-PP-POH

WyreStorm 16 x 16 HDBaseT Matrix Switcher with HDMI Mirror Outputs, 2-Way IR, Routed RS232, PoH

Series: Pro AV Solutions

Model: MX-1616-PP-POH

  • Fully 3D compatible – frame packing/sequential (Blu-Ray) and interlaced stereoscopic (satellite/cable broadcasts)
  • Routed RS232 allows serial control of all connected output devices
  • PoH – power passed directly along Cat5e/6 cable up to 70m/230ft from the MX-PP-POH matrix to all connected PoH-enabled display receivers so no additional power is required at display location
  • Each matrix output can be cascaded up to 7 times for even larger distributions spanning 112 displays covering a transmission distance of up to 7.8km/4.8miles
  • Matrices themselves can also cascaded up to 7 times (using HDMI Passthru source loop cards) for the quick and easy creation of very large arrays of up to 784 displays, covering vast distances up to 54.8km/34miles - with each screen afforded routed control

For large commercial or residential integrations requiring even more input/output flexibility, the WyreStorm MX-1616-PP-POH is largest model in Pro Plus POH matrix range and as with its smaller 8x8 sibling the 16x16 model features enhanced power and flexibility atop the rock-solid Pro Plus HDBaseT platform for projects requiring even more from a distribution and control solution. As with existing Pro Plus matrix models, the MX-1616-PP-POH offers all the benefits of a stable and reliable HDBaseT transmission of 36bit deep color full 1080p HD video, HD audio and bidirectional IR control of up to 8 sources and 8 displays, but adds integrated Power-over-HDBaseT (PoH) to remotely power display receivers from the matrix and routable RS232 for serial control of display zones - all over a single Cat5e/6 cable up to 70m/230ft or even greater installation and control options. Each transmission card offers HDMI input, HDBaseT with PoH output, IR input, routable control capabilities, as well as duplicate HDMI output mirrored to the HDBaseT output to connect to an additional local display, AVR or even a WyreStorm Extender solution to lengthen transmission or change distribution method (Cat5e/6, Fiber, Coax).
  • Fully 3D compatible – frame packing/sequential (Blu-Ray) and interlaced stereoscopic (satellite/cable broadcasts)
  • Routed RS232 allows serial control of all connected output devices

  • HDCP compliant with constant feed to prevent screen drop-outs
  • Reads and copies EDID from connected devices with additional EDID configuration through customizable DIP switch settings if necessary
  • The same robust transmission technology as full HDBaseT that is far more resistant to electrostatic interference than conventional distribution Fully compatible with all market leading third party control systems with full integration protocols available
  • Wide range, two-way discrete IR control between source and display and vice versa (30 to 56kHz frequency)
  • Choose from 5 methods of switching – infrared remote control, front panel buttons, local IR, IR call-back and RS232
  • Simple switching remote control included, which can also be learned into a universal remote handset to allow the control of multiple devices from one handset
  • Conforms to IEEE-568B standards
  • 3U size
  • Additional infrared extension port for longer IR connections
  • Each custom configured matrix unit comes with mounting brackets, IR receivers, IR transmitters and a remote control handset
