As with existing Pro Plus matrix models, the MX-0808-PP-POH offers all the benefits of a stable and reliable HDBaseT transmission of 36bit deep color full 1080p HD video, HD audio and bidirectional IR control of up to 8 sources and 8 displays, but adds integrated Power-over-HDBaseT (PoH) to remotely power display receivers from the matrix and routable RS232 for serial control of display zones - all over a single Cat5e/6 cable up to 70m/230ft or even greater installation and control options. Each transmission card offers HDMI input, HDBaseT with PoH output, IR input, routable control capabilities, as well as duplicate HDMI output mirrored to the HDBaseT output to connect to an additional local display, AVR or even a WyreStorm Extender solution to lengthen transmission or change distribution method (Cat5e/6, Fiber, Coax).
