Largest X-Line Advance system to date deployed in Dublin!

The largest X-Line Advance system to date – comprising over 100 loudspeakers – provided sound reinforcement for a show by Irish alternative rock band Walking on Cars in Dublin on November 12, 2016.

Award-winning pro-audio company Murt Whelan Sound, Ltd. flew two main hangs of 18 X2-212/90 elements each to ensure powerful coverage in the sold-out 14,500-seat 3Arena. 14 X2-212/90 elements per side served as outfills and a further four X2-212/90 elements as nearfills. A profound bass foundation was ensured by 34 X12-128 dual 18” subwoofers and two X12-128 as drumfills on stage. The entire system was powered and controlled by 58 TG7 amps fitted with RCM-28 DSP modules and an N8000 digital matrix controller.

Stellar sound quality and seamless coverage was reported on all fronts. Great job to everyone involved!
